The Britons Protection is one of the oldest and greatest pubs in Manchester, situated on Great Bridgewater St with a great atmosphere, good beer, top staff and the best kept secret beer garden in Manchester. It also has a newly formed football team, playing every Sunday morning in the Altrincham & District Sunday league. playing for 2 years now we have been getting better and better with each game. We are on the lookout for good standard experienced 11-a-side players who would like to play for us and come down and train and complement the team/squad. Experience of playing 11 a side to a good standard is pretty important as the league is very competitive as is the team.
