About Broxbourne Hockey Club

Broxbourne was established in 1903 and continues as a thriving, friendly club today. We are privileged to own an attractive ground in a quiet area of Broxbourne adjacent to the New River with an onsite synthetic single-purpose pitch and an excellent clubhouse. We endeavour to play a good standard of hockey throughout the club, with 5 ladies, and 6 men's teams. There is also a thriving junior section, with many of our junior members representing county and country age categories. We also pride ourselves on having a strong family atmosphere and providing a friendly environment in which all new members and visitors can feel relaxed and welcomed. Positions available

As we enter the 2011/2012 season we are looking for players to join the club across all ages and abilities. Whether you are new to the sport, want a regular game, just fancy a run out and a pint afterwards, or have ambitions to really move your game on, we'll have a team to suit you. We also have a thriving, supportive juniors section, and will always welcome new players, and their parents to the fold. We have regular, organised, and specific training sessions for all teams across the club.
