About Smiths RFC

Smiths RFC is a rugby union club based at the Prince of Wales Stadium in Cheltenham. We currently have first and second rugby teams, and have ambitions of starting a thirds/vets team. Our first team are currently playing in the Gloucester 2 league, having won the Gloucester 3 league in 2014-2015. In the 2014-2015 season the first team also won the level 11 county cup and the Cheltenham combination minor cup. Our seconds team, â€˜the Hamstersâ€™ play in the local merit tables. We are looking for new players of all ages, abilities and positions to bolster our successful 1st and 2nd team. Our 1sts play in the Gloucester 2 league and 2nds in the merit table. Smiths is a fantastic club playing great rugby but not forgetting the importance of a very active social scene.
