UCL Academicals 2nd team are looking for players for next season. The team plays in the Amateur Football Combination Senior North 2nd division, playing on Saturdays at 2pm, mostly against old school teams and old university teams. The home pitch is UCL Sports Ground, Shenley, which is shared with Watford FC. Needless to say given Watford's Premier League status, pitches are pristine (see photos attached). The ground is a 30 minute train ride from St Pancras although many of our players drive so there would be no problems with lifts. Away games are at various venues across North London (e.g. Highgate Woods in Zone 3). The team is comprised mostly of 1st, 2nd and 3rd team university team players. Ages range from 24 to 34 but we would be particularly interested in players who have recently graduated from university. We have welcomed a number of players over the years from other universities, including Royal Holloway, Leeds Metropolitan and others.
