A football club designed to connect everyone from Lewisham. Athletic Football Club Lewisham is a Charter Standard football club. Which was formed in 2012 by Josephine Mayendesa. South London has always been coined as the home of cage ballers, AFCL’s #LEWIWAY embodies this way of playing. AFCL is a club for ALL and everyone is welcome. AFC Lewisham has a Men's adult team operate in the Kent County League and we have youth teams operating in both the Selkent and Kent Youth Leagues. Whether you want to play or watch, you are welcome at our club and we want you to feel part of the club not just one team. UEFA licensed coaches look to nurture talent at all levels, from grassroots development to competitive leagues. We provide opportunities for players of many age groups and abilities and our dedicated coaching staff are committed to developing each player's skills, fostering a love for the sport, and instilling important values such as discipline, teamwork, and respect.
Positions available
AFC Lewisham are recruiting players in all positions for 24/25 season. Training will be held twice a week & conducted by our UEFA licensed coaches. A/B league/District/Academy playing experience or equivalent is desirable. Matches will be recorded for team and player development.
