About Cardiff Dragons FC

We are Wales’s only LGBTI+ football team, set up in 2008 to create a team free from homophobia, a safe and supportive space where anyone can play, regardless of sexuality. We welcome players of all genders, sexualities and abilities to play football in a supportive environment free from homophobia, biphobia and transphobia. We play in the Gay Football Supporters Network (GFSN) league against teams from across the UK. We also play in a local men's Sunday League and a Women's league in Bristol. We compete in 5-a-side and 6-a-side tournaments throughout the country and regularly play casual and friendly fixtures. We are not just about playing, the social side of football is important to us. We try to vary our social events, whether it’s out on the gay scene, watching a football match, bowling, or whatever people want to do. So whether you’re serious about your football or you just fancy a kickaround, get in touch!
