The Greyhounds began 2000 in the Bristol Downs League. 2009/10 welcomed a batch of new players to both teams, with the Reserves experiencing the most benefit - finishing in their highest ever league position of 3rd in Division 3. The firsts carried on their fine cup form, again reaching the semi-finals of the GFA Junior Cup and unfortunately losing out in the final of the Norman Hardy Cup. The 2010/11 saw the first team again finish 5th in Division 1 - achieving their highest ever points total in the process. The Reserves had an excellent season finishing second - just being denied first place on the last day of the season. Promotion to Division 2 for the first time ever is the reward! Both teams again reached the semi-finals of cup competitions, topping another excellent year for the Hounds.

Positions available

With 2 teams in Div1 and Div2 of the Bristol Downs League and with both capable of challenging for the title this year we need to add an experienced goalkeeper to our squad. There will be an opportunity to play in the first or reserve team depending on level and performances. contact houndsfc@hotmail.com for more info.
