About Mellows Park Rangers
We are the mighty Mellows Park Rangers. Established in 2013, we have spent the last 5 seasons embarrassing ourselves in Division 2 of the Saturday AM league hosted by London Football. We're looking for new players to join our side for the forthcoming season (all positions welcome). Home games are predominantly at Tooting Bec and away games take place anywhere within Zone 3. Please be aware that we are a distinctly average side. We all play to a reasonable standard and are fit enough to run around for 90 minutes, but our main motivation is our love of the game rather than a desperate desire to win every game (although that would also be nice). We are a friendly group with ages ranging from 25-36. We enjoy a swift pint or three in the pub after games and have a number of socials over the course of the season. If you've been looking to rejoin the world of 11-a-side but have been put off by the serious nature of other teams then we are probably the club for you.
