About Merton rugby

Merton rugby club are looking for players of all standards to come down and join them, and all positions! The main training session is on WEDNESDAY evenings, starting at 7.30pm, at Morden Recreation Ground, SM4 6RE, which is based close to Morden underground station, St Helier overground, and many bus routes. We run at least three teams each week during the season and all are playing in competitive Leagues, with the 3rd XV being geared towards players coming back to the game or new to Club rugby.

Positions available

The 1st, 2nd and 3rd XVs are all looking to go higher in the Leagues whilst still enjoying their rugby, therefore, we cater for both serious and social players. Merton is a friendly, ambitious and cosmopolitan Club with social events throughout the season, and we also Tour each year, having been to Bristol, Leeds and Edinburgh the past three years with 50 or more playing and non-playing Club members each time!
