About Purley Walcountians HC

Purley Walcountians are a flourishing Mens (5 teams), Ladies (1 team) and Colts (all age groups) Hockey Club based between Purley and Banstead in Surrey. The Mens 1st XI compete in the South League competition and have a young an upcoming squad of players. We have our own clubhouse, including bar and food facilities, and recently laid astro pitch on site.

Purley Walcountians HC are pleased to announce the appointment of Karl Stagno as Director of Hockey for the 12/13 season. Karl, until recently Surbiton HC Mens 1st XI coach, will be involved at all levels of the club, aiming for promotion of the Men’s 1st XI. The appointment represents PWHC’s ambition to continue to grow a successful hockey club based on a strong youth section.
