About Stoke Newington CC Women
Building on the recent success of our girls section (with numbers booming and three of our girls currently in Middlesex squads) SNCC is launching the club’s first-ever Women’s team! We’ve entered Division 2 of the Middlesex Women’s T20 League and will be playing seven T20 matches on Sundays this summer (with our home matches on the showpitch at the Marshes). Before going outdoors, we have two more indoor sessions, Sunday 8 March Sunday 29 March The practices will run from 3.30pm to 5pm at Bridge Academy and are free of charge. We’ll also run girls sessions alongside the Women’s training so that mums and daughters can join in together. The sessions will be led by SNCC’s Director of Cricket, Gordon Summerfield, who has extensive experience of coaching Middlesex girls and women squads. Everyone is welcome, whether you’ve played before or just fancy giving cricket a try. Please do come along and give it a go!
