About Sutton Coldfield Hockey Club

Sutton has a very proud history in both the Mens and Ladies sections of the Club and has always had a very open and progressive approach to the game whilst at the same time maintaining the best that tradition has to offer. Whilst the Mens team have not consistently produced players of International standing, they do have a very strong player base that sees the first XI hovering around the top two Divisions, although success is not always measured purely by results on the pitch. Notably, the superb social spirit of the club is one of it's main strengths and is something the Sutton Men are very proud of- indeed this spirit is noted within Midlands Hockey and is something many other clubs would dearly love to achieve. We're always looking for players and as we are probably the largest club in the Midlands there are plenty of teams at various standards for all to enjoy.
