About Swindon United Churches CC

The club has its historic roots in the churches of Swindon and today welcomes church and non church members alike. Our home ground is in the hamlet of Sevenhampton situated between Swindon and Highworth. Practice facilities are good with grass practice wickets with wheel-on net beside the main square which has itself won a number of Wilts League divisional best pitch awards. The club joined Division Ten of the Wiltshire Cricket League in 1990 and last season were Division Three Champions. We run an annual tour to Devon and there is a good social side - particularly for those in their twenties and thirties

Positions available

The Club are looking for players to represent them in Division Two of the Wiltshire Cricket League and in some Sunday friendlies. We have a particular opportunity at present for an experienced wicket keeper with our hitherto regular keeper taking on more family and work commitments and others in the club, who can do a competent job behind the stumps, having main strengths in other areas of the game. Winter nets are running from February onwards
