About Whalers CC
Whalers Cricket Club is a social medium strength team playing mostly in south-west London. We play competitive friendly cricket and ensure that everyone gets involved in the game, and there is always a drink afterwards. We play once a weekend in summer, mostly on Sundays, but with some Saturday games and a few midweek T20s. Our home ground is Kings House School Cricket Ground which is between Barnes and Chiswick. Whalers CC have been playing for 15 years in London, and are looking for 2 or 3 players to supplement their 2015 squad. There is an overseas tour every year (2014 was Malta), plus some social events including an evening T20 game and our end of season awards dinner. Our pre-season nets are at the Oval on Thursdays 7-8pm commencing on Thursday 19th March to which we encourage potential new players to come along and join us for a drink afterwards.
