About Battlesbridge FC

A first division club playing in the Mid Essex League on Saturdays at Ford Sports in Basildon, Essex. Since transferring from the Southend Borough Combination League to the Mid-Essex in 2007, Battlesbridge Football Club has had success in both the Mid-Essex League and related cups. The current 1st team have worked their way up the League, winning Divisions 4 and 3—in seasons 2007/o8 and 2008/09 (as League Cup Runners Up) respectively—before earning promotion in 2011/12 to Division 1, which they intend to win this year, of course . The (now) Reserve Team won their Division 4 Cup Final in 2009 (then as the A-Team), to round off Battlesbridge Football Club’s most successful year in decades. The current Reserve Team also earned promotion in the 2011/12 season from Division 6 to Division 5, replacing the Reserves at the time, who have now become the A-Team.

Positions available

Battlesbridge FC are seeking good experienced Midfielders and Strikers to join up with our first team. We have 3 spaces available due to players leaving and moving on. The standard is high and the pitches are of a good quality. Players must be experienced and be able to deal with the hussle and bussle of mens football. If you are interested then we are currently holding pre season training on Saturday mornings at Ford Sports in Basildon 10:30am.
